Sales Tax Accounting Trainee

About the Job We are looking for individuals with some accounting experience to do clerical work while training to work in a sales tax accounting function. Must have an attention to detail, be a fast learner, and have a burning desire to succeed.
Location and Eligibility Location is 100% remote. However, due to increasingly tough labor and tax laws, we only hire in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.
Employment Type This is a full-time W2 position. It is not part-time work. Must be located in the US.
Requirements Candidates must have at least two years of recent accounting and/or clerical experience.
Must have an excellent command of Excel and/or Google Sheets.
Ideal candidates will have a college degree, but exceptions will be made for candidates with the right attitude.
We are a fast-paced high-volume firm. You must be able to work quickly and accurately.
You must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
Bilingual is a plus as we work with companies all across the world.
Compensation Compensation includes a starting base salary range of $35,000 with additional bonuses. There are advancement opportunities.
