This role is a high-impact sales development position focused on driving new business opportunities for a fast-growing digital marketing environment specializing in SEO and performance marketing services. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients who need support improving their online visibility and organic growth. The environment is fast-paced, target-driven, and highly collaborative, requiring strong communication skills and a deep understanding of digital marketing value propositions. You will play a key role in building the sales pipeline by connecting with decision-makers through outbound channels and positioning SEO solutions effectively. Accountabilities

Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate qualified leads

Identify and engage potential clients requiring SEO and digital marketing services

Clearly communicate the value of SEO, PPC, and content marketing solutions to prospects

Qualify leads and book discovery calls or demos for Account Executives

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of activities and pipeline in CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce

Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to improve outreach strategies and conversion rates

Consistently meet and exceed monthly targets for lead generation and pipeline development

Stay informed on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and digital marketing best practices

Requirements

2+ years of experience in SEO or digital marketing sales within an agency or similar environment

Proven success in outbound sales, lead generation, and appointment setting

Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO concepts

Ability to confidently discuss ROI, traffic growth, rankings, and conversion performance with clients

Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools

Strong communication, persuasion, and objection-handling skills

Highly motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team-based sales process
