Medical Assistant

Grand Villa of Port Charlotte is seeking a dedicated full-time Certified Medical Assistant to support our residents' healthcare needs. Join our compassionate team in providing high-quality medical support and ensuring a comfortable, caring environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist healthcare providers with patient charting, documentation, and medical record management

- Support residents with daily health assessments and basic medical procedures

- Prepare examination rooms and ensure medical supplies are stocked and sanitized

- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members regarding medical information

- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards

Skills and Qualifications:

- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential from an accredited program

- Proven experience in a healthcare or assisted living setting preferred

- Strong organizational and communication skills

- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

- Knowledge of medical terminology, charting, and basic clinical procedures

- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
