Title: HR Assistant (Recruiting & Administrative Support) Pay: $18.00–$22.00/hour Schedule: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible to 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM) Type: Contract Position Summary We are seeking an HR Assistant to support recruiting, onboarding, and daily HR operations in a fast-paced environment. This role partners closely with the site HR leader and hiring managers to coordinate hiring activities, maintain accurate records, and ensure a smooth candidate and new hire experience. This position is best suited for someone with prior recruiting or HR support experience who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Key Responsibilities Recruiting Support Review resumes and conduct initial candidate prescreens (phone and/or virtual) Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers Partner with managers to gather job requirements and candidate feedback Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process HR Operations Coordinate pre-employment processes (background checks, drug screens) Assist with new hire onboarding, including completion of I-9 and new hire documentation Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate records in PeopleSoft Organize and maintain candidate data within internal systems Administrative Support Maintain and organize physical and electronic HR files Support general office operations (document handling, supply tracking, filing) Greet candidates and visitors in a professional manner Assist with maintaining a clean and organized office environment Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in recruiting, HR support, or HR coordination High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing environment Experience using PeopleSoft and/or Adobe Sign Experience supporting high-volume hiring or onboarding Key Traits for Success Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively Reliable, punctual, and professional
