Turner Industries Group is seeking Journeyman Pipefitters with a minimum of 4 years' experience for Turnaround work in the Bay City, TX, area.

No per diem available, ideal for local candidates

40 hours plus, must be available to work overtime and callouts as needed

NCCER highly preferred

Must be able to pass craft test and safety council courses in English

General Job Description:

Lays out, fabricates, prepares and checks pipe against job specifications for assembly at the job site.

Functional Requirements:

Interprets spool sheet diagrams to determine size, shapes and angles of required pipes, pipe fittings, flanges, etc.; plans sequence of fabrication; measures and cuts pipe; cleans and prepares pipe by grinding, bends and threads pipe - may operate bending machine; assembles and joins pipe and pipe fittings; may operate hydraulic lift to relocate pipe.
