Warehouse Staff

The Warehouse Staff assist the Warehouse Supervisor in the various activities in the Warehouse department for the Casino and Resort. Responsibilities include receiving shipments and checking the shipments for any damaged goods; maintaining the "Shipping and Receiving Log", verifying incoming shipments against the packing/shipping invoice and purchase order(s); interfacing with the Purchasing Department for distribution; and maintaining security in the Warehouse. Responsible for conducting inventories as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor. The Warehouse Staff is responsible for all incoming and Outgoing supplies/inventory. Responsibilities include receiving shipments and checking the shipments for any damaged goods; maintaining the "Shipping and Receiving Log"; verifying incoming supplies against the packing/shipping invoice and purchase orders; maintaining a "Bill of Lading" file; interfacing with the Purchasing Department for distribution; and maintaining security in the Warehouse.

Provide exceptional guest service to external and internal guests by maintaining and exhibiting the Casino Resort We-Ko-Pa Way Service Standards: Smile and Greet, Name and Meet, Thank you, and Goodbye.

Assists the Warehouse Supervisor in the various activities in the Warehouse Department

Responsible for receiving shipments through verifying packing lists and purchase orders

Responsible for outgoing shipments

Maintains the shipping and receiving log

Interfaces with the Purchasing Department for proper distribution and maintains the security of the warehouse.

Responsible for conducting inventories as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor

Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Must be able to work well with others and be flexible, working in a stressful environment.

Performs other related duties as required.

Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds and push or pull 100 pounds

Utilizes forklifts and pallet jacks to safely and efficiently move inventory around the warehouse and shipping facility

Must be able to obtain and maintain a State/Tribal License (including an extensive background check).

Must pass pre-employment drug test.

Must be 21 or older.

Performs other related duties as required.

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum of two (2) years of warehouse experience within a resort/casino is desirable

Inventory control background helpful

Forklift experience preferred but not required

Knowledge of Microsoft Office is desired

Preference will be given to qualified applicants who are members of federally recognized Indian tribes. To be considered for Indian Preference, you must submit your Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) with your application.
