Responsibilities: As Charge Nurse, your role is to act as primary liaison for the care team with physicians, patients, families and all members of the assigned care team. Each shift the oversight of patient safety, quality and regulatory activities flows through you and you’re the one responsible for coordinating patient flow and staff assignments. It’s a tall order and you’re ready to achieve those heights in your career.
