Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 05/11/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider in Anderson, SC where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. Minimum Requirements: Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program. Current South Carolina respiratory therapist license in good standing with the State License Board. One year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Client requires RRT credentialing specifically. BLS certification required. Experience operating and maintaining mechanical ventilators, performing arterial punctures, and suctioning procedures in an acute care/hospital environment. Ability to perform and interpret oximetry, capnography, 12-lead EKGs, and basic arrhythmia recognition. Experience assisting with bronchoscopy, chest tube management, tracheostomy care, and transport of critically ill patients preferred.
