About the Opportunity

St. Joseph Regional Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric coverage on an ongoing basis. This role is available due to a provider vacancy/medical leave and offers a stable, long-term locum tenens assignment in a supportive hospital environment.

Assignment Highlights

• Schedule: 5 days per month (scheduled clinical hours plus call)

• Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry

• Admissions Required: Yes

• Privileges: Temporary privileges available

• Call Type: Beeper call (details TBD)

• EMR: MediTech

• Patients per shift: TBD

Requirements

• Board Certified in Psychiatry REQUIRED

• Active Idaho Medical License REQUIRED

• BLS Certification REQUIRED

• Must be comfortable with:

  • Anxiety, affective, ADD/ADHD, personality, eating, developmental, psychotic, and organic disorders

  • Involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, restraint application

  • Pharmacotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and ECT

• Insurance: Provided by IPL

• Travel & Lodging: Open to full travel.

• Credentialing timeframe: 60 days- Temps available!

• Holidays observed: New Year s, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
