Appliance Service Technician

We are seeking a motivated Appliance Service Technician to join our team and build strong relationships with our customers by assisting them with their appliance repair needs.

A successful Appliance Service Team Member will possess a great attitude and a servant's heart. We believe that the technical aspect of your role is essential, and we will provide in-depth training, including a great deal of on-site training, in this area. Your professional demeanor and attitude also play a tremendous part in the fit that you will be on the team. We are seeking a team member who can work collaboratively within the team and take initiative independently, without direct supervision. This is a full-time position with available overtime.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with household appliances using the provided tools, diagnostic electronics, technical documentation, and manufacturer support.
  • Customer communication: Listen to the customer's description of the problem, then give a clear explanation of your diagnosis and potential solutions.
  • Collaborate with team: Work closely with customer service representatives and other technicians.
  • Adhere to safety protocols: Follow safe working practices on service visits and comply with company safety standards while driving company vehicles.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving habits.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
