Job Title
If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for office automation and clerical support duties in the United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Florida.
Typical work assignments will include:
- Receiving telephone calls and visitors to the office;
- Controlling access to the office and ensuring only properly cleared visitors are authorized entry;
- Providing general information regarding office programs;
- Processing all incoming and outgoing mail;
- Receiving all checks and money orders, recording receipt in automated check log;
- Using various software to produce a variety of documents;
- Assists legal support staff in the office with copy jobs and printing. This includes the preparation of exhibit binders used in trials and other court matters;
- Assists legal support staff in the processing of electronic case notifications from the district to include the printing, saving, and calendaring court events in an electronic calendar; and,
- Assists legal support staff in the preparation of Grand Jury and Trial subpoenas.
Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
