Description
Warehouse Associate
A Warehouse Associate helps with receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products in the warehouse. This role is important for keeping the warehouse organized and ensuring orders are accurate and delivered on time.
Main Responsibilities
Receiving & Storing:
Unload deliveries and check if items match the order.
Inspect products for damage and store them in the right places.
Picking & Packing:
Pick items from shelves based on customer orders.
Pack items carefully and label them for shipping.
Inventory:
Help with counting stock and keeping track of inventory.
Let supervisors know when stock is running low.
Shipping:
Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and packing.
Load packages onto trucks or delivery vehicles.
Safety & Cleanliness:
Follow safety rules and keep the warehouse clean and organized.
Warehouse Equipment:
Use tools like pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided).
Help with basic maintenance of equipment.
Experience: Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not required.
Skills:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Basic math skills for counting and checking stock.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to work well with others.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
May involve working in different temperatures.
