Pay Rate: $25/hr
Employment Type: Contingent
Schedule: Part-time, Mon & Thu, 4:30am-4pm

You are often the first and most frequent point of contact for patients. Your professionalism, technical expertise, and compassion directly influence patient experience, specimen quality, and diagnostic accuracy—making you a vital part of the healthcare delivery process.
What You'll Do
- Perform venipuncture and capillary collections, including pediatric, geriatric, forensic, and clinical specimens
- Prepare, label, process, and package specimens accurately for laboratory testing
- Verify patient identification and demographics, ensuring proper labeling and documentation at time of collection
- Create a welcoming, professional environment while explaining procedures and easing patient concerns
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of patient information
- Follow all established policies, procedures, safety standards, and compliance requirements
- Support operations across Patient Service Centers and in-office locations as needed, including floating between sites
- Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting with minimal supervision
What We're Looking For
- A current, up-to-date resume
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1–3+ years depending on skill level
- Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections; pediatric experience a must!
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations with minimal notice (as applicable)
- Ability to meet compliance requirements
