Potential Custodian/Mechanic Helper

Qualifications: Thorough knowledge of custodial procedures. Ability to perform work in accordance with job description. Physically capable of performing cleaning duties that may include, but are not limited to, lifting, moving heavy objects, and climbing ladders. Ability to demonstrate proficiency in essential functions of the position. High school diploma or equivalent. Successful BCI/FBI checks.

Duties: Perform general custodial duties related to the general appearance, cleanliness, repair, and operations of the buildings and grounds. Perform such maintenance duties as shall be assigned, which are necessary to the safety, health, and general welfare of the students and employees of the school district. Electrical/plumbing/carpentry skills preferred. Must have basic computer skills (ex. Email, Word processing, work orders, etc.)

Hours: Eight (8) hours per day, Five (5) days per week. Place of Assignment: High School Building Afternoon/Midnight (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, 3:00 11:00 PM or 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM), as needed in and around district buildings.

Rate of Pay: Per current negotiated salary schedule. Responsible to: Maintenance Coordinator, Building Principals, and Superintendent
