Bus Driver

Seeking individuals to ensure the safe transportation of students, staff, and others to and from school, residential neighborhoods and field trips.

Major Responsibilities, Partial List:

• Ensure passenger safety, maintains discipline on bus.
• Transport students on field trips and outings, athletic events, and other extracurricular events, often in the evening and at nights as assigned.
• Conduct a daily pre-trip safety inspection of the bus prior to transporting students according to state mandated guidelines.
• Maintain assigned schedule and discharges students only at authorized stops.
• Adhere to the preventive maintenance schedule.

Qualifications, Partial List:

• Class B CDL with School Bus and Passenger Endorsements required.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of two years of driving experience.
• Meets all mandated health requirements.
• Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Salary: Per approved salary schedule. This is a spread pay position once you become a driver.
