Customer Service Specialist – Utility Billing

This is a non-exempt, full-time, classified position with full benefits.

Hiring range 16: $18.45 -

$27.67 per hour.

Description:

Under direct supervision of the Financial Services Director, is responsible for providing quality customer service to Citizens seeking utility billing services, information, and assistance with various other city services. Helps maintain the utility billing system(s) for the City by billing customers, collecting payments, providing information on accounts, collections, and updating the billing software database. Performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Graduate or GED equivalent and the possession of a valid Arizona driver's license, or the ability to obtain upon employment, is required. Previous experience typing and 10-key and bi-lingual in Spanish is highly desirable.

Physical Requirements:

This classification is in an office environment requiring mostly sedentary activities for the majority of the workday.

Exerting up to 25 lbs. occasionally or negligible weights frequently.
