Shift: Start at 7:45 AM | 6-8+ hour shifts (weekends & holidays required)

Position Overview

The Housekeeping Lead is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations and ensuring cleanliness and service standards are consistently met. This Housekeeping Lead role includes supervising staff, managing schedules, and maintaining quality control across all assigned areas. The ideal Housekeeping Lead is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of leading a team in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience & Skills
• Previous housekeeping experience with leadership or supervisory background
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control standards
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and events
• Reliable attendance and professional work ethic

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Supervise, train, and lead housekeeping staff
• Develop and assign daily work schedules
• Conduct inspections to ensure cleanliness and quality standards
• Address and resolve service issues or complaints
• Coordinate staffing for weekends, holidays, and special events
• Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and PPE
• Manage inventory and ordering of supplies and equipment
• Enforce safety policies and sanitation standards
• Communicate with management regarding staffing and operational needs

Work Environment
• Indoor and/or outdoor work depending on assignment
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Physically active role requiring standing, walking, and lifting
• Fast-paced environment, especially during events and peak times

Additional Information
• Schedule may extend based on operational needs
• Weekend and holiday work required
• All staff may be required during downtown or special events
