Accounts Receivable / Customer Service Specialist - Job Description
Adecco is partnering with a client in New Windsor NY and is seeking a accounts payable/customer service candidate. This role combines financial responsibilities with customer interaction, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers while providing excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time
- Process incoming payments and apply them to the correct accounts
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on past-due accounts
- Communicate with customers regarding billing questions, payment status, and discrepancies
- Resolve invoice or payment issues in a professional and timely manner
- Reconcile accounts receivable records and maintain accurate documentation
- Provide general customer support via phone, email, or chat
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth billing and service operations
Qualifications:
- 1-3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or customer service
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Problem-solving mindset with a customer-first approach
Pay Details: $28.00 to $29.00 per hour
