Material Handler / Forklift Operator

Summary:
Reliable and safety-focused Material Handler with hands-on experience in forklift operations, inventory control, and yard/warehouse logistics. Proven ability to manage high-volume materials, ensure order accuracy, and maintain an organized and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload trucks and trailers while ensuring accuracy and proper material handling
• Verify all outgoing orders for completeness and correctness prior to shipment
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport materials within the yard and warehouse
• Organize, sort, and restock inventory to maintain efficient workflow and accessibility
• Inspect and check in equipment, ensuring proper documentation and condition tracking
• Dispose of construction debris in accordance with safety and environmental standards
• Track time, materials, and inventory movements using company computer systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment

Skills & Qualifications:

• Forklift operation (2+ years experience; certification eligible)
• Warehouse and yard operations (2+ years experience)
• Inventory management and order verification
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency (inventory/logging systems)
• Ability to read measurements and use tape measures accurately
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration
• High commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Full-time, evening shift (start time between 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM)
• Monday-Friday schedule with consistent, year-round hours
