Material Handler / Forklift Operator

Summary:
Reliable and safety-focused Material Handler with hands-on experience in forklift operations, inventory control, and yard/warehouse logistics. Proven ability to manage high-volume materials, ensure order accuracy, and maintain an organized and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload trucks and trailers while ensuring accuracy and proper material handling
- Verify all outgoing orders for completeness and correctness prior to shipment
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport materials within the yard and warehouse
- Organize, sort, and restock inventory to maintain efficient workflow and accessibility
- Inspect and check in equipment, ensuring proper documentation and condition tracking
- Dispose of construction debris in accordance with safety and environmental standards
- Track time, materials, and inventory movements using company computer systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment
Skills & Qualifications:
- Forklift operation (2+ years experience; certification eligible)
- Warehouse and yard operations (2+ years experience)
- Inventory management and order verification
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency (inventory/logging systems)
- Ability to read measurements and use tape measures accurately
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration
- High commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Full-time, evening shift (start time between 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM)
- Monday-Friday schedule with consistent, year-round hours
