Job Summary/Overview The primary focus of this position will be picking and replenishing orders for assembly lines and picking/packaging order for replacement part orders for Dorner's MMC and Parts Picking cells. Work Schedule Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities Utilize ERP system to track part availability and timing of orders. Communicate with planners and department leads regarding part shortages. Organize and maintain inventory in automated retrieval system. Locating and picking parts from various locations including bins and part storage systems. Packaging parts of various sizes for intended parts shipments. Maintain a safe and clean environment, and perform 5S tasks as required. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities Basic computer, measurement, and math skills. A team player with excellent communication skills. Self-directed with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once. Ability to be flexible and adjust priorities to reflect changing needs or job demands. Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. Required Qualifications Ability to lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs. safely. Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred. Compensation $19-$20/hour+ depending on experience. Additional $0.50/hour split shift premium.
