Description

Our client, an AI-driven B2B logistics startup, is seeking a Founding Business Recruiter to build and own its business hiring function.

This is a critical, high-impact role for a self-driven, startup-minded recruiter who can operate from first principles—partnering closely with leadership to define roles, build hiring processes, and close top talent across GTM, Product Management, and other key business functions.

What you'll do:

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across Sales, Marketing, Product, and broader business roles
  • Partner with hiring managers (including first-time leaders) to scope roles, design interview processes, and define hiring strategy
  • Build and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies, with a focus on high self-sourced pipelines (targeting ~30%+)
  • Manage the full candidate lifecycle—from outreach through close—ensuring a high-quality, fast-moving experience
  • Track and optimize hiring metrics (time-to-fill, conversion rates) to drive efficient, high-quality outcomes

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, within high-growth startups
  • Proven success hiring for GTM, Product, and business roles
  • Ability to operate end-to-end (sourcing, scheduling, closing) with minimal support
  • Experience working closely with founders and early-stage teams is preferred
  • Strong proficiency with ATS and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox)
  • Confident in challenging hiring managers and shaping role definition
  • High attention to detail, particularly in closing and candidate experience
