Job Overview:
The Reconciliations Specialist will support the accuracy and integrity of financial data by performing monthly reconciliations and resolving discrepancies. This position plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate revenue reporting.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly audit and reconciliation of all revenues, bank, and general ledger accounts
- Identify any timing differences, variances and reconciling items
- Analyze revenue data from our partners and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain reconciliation schedules and support documentation for month end close
- Monitor open reconciling items, follow up on outstanding issues and ensure timely resolution in accordance with internal policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- Identify opportunities to improve reconciliation processes and controls
- Assist with month end close where needed
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, reconciliation, finance, or a related discipline supporting daily financial processes
- Proven experience with Excel
- Critical thinking skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey data insights effectively to all stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- A growth mindset
