Night Custodian

Reports To: Manager of Buildings and Grounds

Qualifications: Required Experience or Training High School Diploma or GED certificate; minimum of one (1) year previous custodial and/or maintenance experience

Desired Experience or Training CDL classified Illinois driver's license to drive school bus; three (3) or more years of previous custodial and/or maintenance experience; equipment maintenance experience; landscaping experience

Basic Function: Perform custodial functions as directed.

Position Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain classrooms, corridors, offices and stairs as directed.
• Clean washrooms and locker rooms.
• Set up bleachers and related athletic equipment.
• Shovel and operate mechanical snow removal equipment.
• Willingness to carry out bus charter assignments (If Qualified).
• Wash exterior and/or interior glass and other areas as directed.
• Set up and breakdowns for extra-curricular activities, Board meeting and all other facility usage events.
• Clean cafeteria and lunchroom facilities.
• Assist maintenance personnel as directed.
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by the Manager of Buildings and Grounds and/or Night Forman.
