Large Forklift Operator

Abbeville Fiber is seeking a Large Forklift Operator at their Abbeville location. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Essential Duties:

• Efficiently load, unload, and transport heavy oversized items using a high-capacity Taylor 360 forklift
• Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around logs, lumber, and/or other materials
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks

Education and/or Experience:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Must have previous forklift experience
• Sawmill experience a plus!
