Substitute Custodians

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferably two to three years of related maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, school administrators and staff.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to get tasks done in a timely manner
• Able to assume responsibility with a minimum of direct supervision
• Ability to effectively use basic computer software applications

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be physically active and able to bend, crawl, squat, stoop and walk; reach with hands and arms overhead; lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Hours: On call for subbing Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. during school year

Pay: According to the RESPA Master Agreement
