This Supervisory Business and Administrative Management Specialist position is located in the United States Attorney's Office. The incumbent provides expert advice and guidance to management on administrative management, resource utilization, and acquisition planning, to ensure effective and efficient program operations. If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing Supervisory Business and Administrative Management Specialist support in the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Massachusetts, located in Boston, Massachusetts, focusing in the areas of planning, directing, and coordinating administrative operations and procurement support activities for the district.
Typical work assignments will include:
- Serves as an advisor to management officials, responsible for advising leadership on administrative management and procurement coordination and operational issues.
- Coordinate with management official and program staff to plan and implement administrative initiatives that support strategic and operational objectives.
- Analyze, evaluate, and administer a variety of programs, projects, and support activities directly impacting the effectiveness of the office.
- Develop short- and long-range plans to ensure that office operations are conducted effectively and efficiently. Develop appropriate internal operating procedures based on impending changes to policy.
Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
