Front Desk Attendant – Wellness Center (PRN)

We are seeking a friendly, dependable Front Desk Attendant to support daily operations at our Wellness Center. This role is the first point of contact for members and visitors, providing excellent customer service while assisting with administrative and front desk responsibilities.

Schedule:

  • Weekdays: 4:00 AM – 7:30 AM
  • Saturdays: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Ideal for early risers or those seeking a part-time morning schedule.

Position Overview

The Front Desk Attendant provides administrative and customer service support to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for Wellness Center members, patients, and guests. Compensation for this position is $15/hr.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service & Front Desk Support
    • Greet and assist members, patients, and visitors in a professional manner
    • Manage member check-ins and respond to general inquiries
    • Answer phone calls and route messages appropriately
  • Membership & Administrative Support
    • Assist with membership enrollment, renewals, and updates
    • Process payments (memberships, aquatic programs, and other services)
    • Support membership tracking, engagement, and retention efforts
    • Schedule appointments for wellness services (massage therapy, dietary consults, etc.)
  • Operations Support
    • Open and close the Wellness Center following established procedures
    • Maintain accurate records and ensure systems are functioning properly
    • Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
    • Coordinate communication across Wellness Center services
  • Team Support
    • Collaborate with staff across departments, including Kidz Club and fitness floor
    • Notify staff of appointment arrivals, changes, or cancellations
    • Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications

High school diploma (or currently enrolled) preferred

Basic computer skills required (Microsoft Office experience a plus)

CPR certification required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality

Ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages

Working & Physical Requirements

Frequent interaction with members, patients, and children

May have limited exposure to health-related environments

Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform light lifting (up to 25 lbs occasionally)
