Level 2 Production Support Engineer

Job Title

Minimum of 5 years prior work experience working with an application development organization; must demonstrate experience supporting systems and projects from inception through implementation

BA/BS degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field

Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem and change management)

Thorough knowledge of data processing concepts and financial industry/banking operations practices

Experience/Knowledge with CI/CD Concepts and Tools

Hands on experience of Kubernetes/Container Software Tools

Experience/Knowledge with Kafka

Experience/Knowledge of REST APIs

Application Support knowledge of Linux OS/Web Logic environments

Experience with Elastic Search or similar logging tools

Experience with automation/scheduling tools/processes

On-call duty (rotation), flexible working all hours including weekends

Hands on experience and knowledge of recent versions of Microsoft Windows Server / Desktop environments and related components – Server 2008/2012/2016 Desktop 7/10

Hands on experience and knowledge of recent versions of Microsoft SQL Server – 2008/2012/2016 technologies including SQL SSRS and SSIS Packages

Experience/Knowledge with Web Servers, Citrix solutions, Windows RDP

Knowledge and experience with SQL, Python, PowerShell and other related programing languages

Knowledge and experience with VMWare, SANs, Networking and backup/restore technologies
