Kiawah Island Club Laundry Attendant
On Kiawah Island, located just 21 miles south of Charleston, South Carolina, day breaks across a pristine 10-mile beach, expansive marsh savannahs, ribboning rivers, and some of the most-acclaimed amenities available on the Eastern Seaboard. We are looking for professional Laundry Attendants capable of processing laundry with integrity and attention to detail. The goal is to be The Best private club in the world. Our goal in Laundry is perfection accomplished through teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Performing a variety of activities such as sweeping, loading and unloading machines, operating towel folder
- Ensuring all linen is processed and cleaned according to standards
- Protecting all equipment and reporting any damage or malfunctions to your supervisor
- Ensuring all linen is counted, bagged, and recorded properly
- Clean lint filters as scheduled
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related standards
Qualifications:
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift 80+pounds
- Ability to operate large machines
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- Knowledge of English language
