Bus Operator

Qualifications: Valid Maine bus operator’s license. Clean driving record and enjoy working with kids. Maine Dept. of Ed. Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) Approval is required. See links below for more information.

Description: Fill in for regular bus routes (am/pm), field trips, co-curricular and sporting events on an as needed basis.

A valid Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) Approval will be required of successful candidate. However, it is not a requirement to have completed prior to the application process. Cape Elizabeth has three schools: Pond Cove Elementary School, grades K-4; Cape Elizabeth Middle School, grades 5-8; and, Cape Elizabeth High School, grades 9-12. All schools are located within easy walking distance of each other. Cape Elizabeth is a residential community located on the Atlantic Ocean three miles south of Portland, two hours north of Boston, and covers about 15 square miles.
