Job Position: Forklift Operator

Location: Lewisville, TX 75056

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00

Shift: 1st Mon- Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm

Description: Stride Staffing is seeking a dependable and reliable Forklift Operator with stable work history and preferably someone with a background in construction and project management. Our client is seeking someone with a huge mindset on safety and is certified on a sit-down forklift. The are located in the area of The Colony just off of 121 and Main Street. All candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test as well as be prepared to interview with our customer. Additionally, all candidates must possess the experience listed below and understand that Stride Staffing does conduct thorough reference checks.

Job Duties:

• Loading/unloading raw materials for solar panels, utility parts, and heavy equipment
• Conducting daily, OSHA-required, pre-shift equipment checks on sit-down/stand-up forklifts
• Using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track, scan, and stage materials
• Ensuring the safe storage and organization of materials in production, warehouse, and shipping areas
• Maneuvering forklift in a safe and efficient manner in tight spaces

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Valid forklift certification is required
• 2-3 years of recent experience, with specialized knowledge required for specific equipment like reach trucks or heavy-load forklifts
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
• Background in construction or project management is a huge plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a huge plus but not a requirement
