Description
Medical Transportation Dispatcher
TriCare Medical Transportation is seeking a dependable and motivated Dispatcher to support our MAV (Mobility Assistance Vehicle) and BLS (Basic Life Support) operations.
This role plays an important part in ensuring patients are transported safely and on time. The ideal candidate is organized, communicates well, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
· Dispatch and coordinate MAV and BLS units for scheduled and on-demand transports
· Monitor trips and adjust assignments as needed to maintain efficiency and on-time performance
· Communicate with drivers, healthcare facilities, and internal teams
· Accurately document trip updates and communications in CAD systems
· Assist with resolving delays, scheduling conflicts, and operational issues
· Support operations with professionalism and attention to detail
· Previous dispatch, logistics, or transportation experience preferred
· Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills
· Comfortable making decisions and adapting to changing situations
· Familiarity with CAD or dispatch systems is a plus
· Knowledge of medical transport terminology (MAV, BLS, etc.) is helpful but not required
· Clean background check
· Negative drug screening
Tuesday thru Saturday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM Consistent, full-time hours
Competitive compensation $20.00HR - $24.00hr based on experience
