Stocker - 2nd Shift

Stockers are high energy, motivated associates who manually move merchandise to designated areas. This role is critical to providing our customers with the product they expect when they need it most to enjoy their time on the water. You can expect the work to be physically demanding with an extremely high focus on your safety and the safety of others. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Stocks product to appropriate areas of the facility in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Utilizes handheld radio frequency (R.F.) scanner in a safe manner.
  • Puts merchandise in the primary location.
  • Report product that will not fit in the primary locations.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment for crew members, adhering to all safety rules and standards.
  • Maintain the shop's stability and reputation by complying with all relevant legal requirements.
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Strong time management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address challenges proactively.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and delegate appropriately when necessary.
  • Comfortable functioning in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software applications.
  • Understanding of RF Scanners.

Physical Description:

Typical Working Conditions:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the Crew Member regularly works near moving equipment.
  • Position is routinely exposed to hot and cold temperatures during Summer and Winter months in the Distribution Center.

Essential Physical Tasks:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the Crew Member is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, hear, reach with hands and arms, use hands to handle or feel. The Crew Member is occasionally required to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and bend. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. or team lift items greater than 50 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Willing to submit to a criminal background check
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
