Arlington Heights School District 25 has openings for substitute custodians / substitute event staff. Times vary, and shifts may range from 3 to 8 hours per day, primarily after 2:30 pm. Starting pay is $16.00/hour, no benefits. Job Summary for Building Attendant duties: Ability to work with community groups, Facility Operation Managers and the Building Attendant Supervisor to keep the buildings and grounds organized, set-up, clean, neat, safe and secure Ability to work flexible hours to respond to the demands of the position Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to perform light custodial and set-up duties Ability to respond to emergencies Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED certification Display a positive attitude Dependable Have a good attendance record Ability to work with little supervision Good communication skills Physical dexterity Experience in sanitation, chemical usage, equipment operation and a basic knowledge of building cleaning procedures Faith's Law: Effective July 1, 2023, districts are required to conduct an Employee History Review (EHR) of prior employers to determine if they have been the subject of a sexual misconduct allegation, been discharged, been asked to resign, or were disciplined due to an adjudication or finding of sexual misconduct.
