Thin Gauge Plastic Tray Production Operator

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Off-load plastic trays coming off the production line
• Count and stack the plastic trays
• Place the stacks of plastic trays in boxes
• Label the boxes
• Stack boxes on pallets for warehousing and/or for shipping to customers.

Education and Experience:
• Required - High School Diploma or GED

Physical and Other Requirements:
• The person in this job position must be able and willing to:
o Arrive to work on time for every work day
o Learn new physical and mental tasks
o Work overtime, weekend, or holidays when necessary
• The person in this job position must be able and willing to:
o Lift up to 25 pounds on a daily basis
o Stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time
o Perform physical and mental tasks quickly within a fast-paced production
environment
o Complete eye-hand coordination tasks on a daily basis
o Accurately count plastic trays (parts) mentally and out-loud
• For reasons of safety and productivity, the person in this job must be able and willing
to:
o Independently engage in Standard English written, audio, and visual safety
training delivered via oral lecture, hard copy written information, online self
study modules with audio and visual components
o Engage with written and oral tests/quizzes given in Standard English
o Listen to and follow the safety and production instructions provided by
supervisors and managers in Standard oral and written English
o Understand oral Standard English and respond back orally using Standard
English
o Understand written Standard English and respond to written information and
instructions without looking up words or by using translation assistance from
people or from technology
o Write in Standard English without looking up words or by using translation
assistance from people or from technology
