Warehouse I

The warehouse I is responsible for verifying and signing shipments, unloading, and storing items received, and processing any returns.

Essential functions include:

  • Pick up merchandise from the distribution center and prepare for transportation to stores and other locations.
  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; Placing orders in the delivery area.
  • Enforce inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and print requests.
  • Keep an inventory of all merchandise entering or leaving the warehouse.
  • Ensure that all merchandise is securely packed and labeled for shipment.
  • Scan labels to make sure products are shipped to the correct destinations.
  • Provide a quality service following the standards of the organization.
  • Preserves safe and clean work environments by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations tidy.
  • Promoted the clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Complete the reports by entering the required information.
  • Contributes to the team's effort by achieving related results as needed.
  • Help with training new employees

Work environment: Warehouse work subject to varying temperatures, to include heat and cold

Physical Demands: Must be able to bend and lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly

Education and experience required:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Positive, detailed, customer-oriented attitude with good multitasking and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbally and in writing
  • Basic math and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented mindset, data entry and computer skills
  • Ability to work on feet for long hours
  • Understanding security protocols and requirements
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, or selling related products
  • Certified forklift
  • Valid class "C" driver's license
