Warehouse Associate

Adecco is assisting a major client in their search for a Warehouse Associate in Byron, GA. This is a short-term contract, offering weekly pay and an opportunity to expand your experience. Job Description:

This is a short-term contract, expected to last about 4 weeks, where you will contribute to the success of the warehouse by performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trailers, as well as collect empty pallet boards and carry them to storage.

• Pick appropriate cases.

• Load trailers via carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer.

• General housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required (e.g. you may be asked to sweep the floor, help clean a trailer, take out the trash, etc.).

• Lift objects that weigh anywhere between 15 pounds and 50 pounds (i.e. anything from a bowling ball to a twin-size mattress) with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Ability to lift as much as 50lbs

• Must be able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods

• PPE - Must wear steel toes boots

Pay Details: $24.00 per hour
