Pay: Starting at $31/hour

Schedule: Monday - Wednesday 6:30am - 3:00pm or when OR is finished, Thursday 6:30am - 3:00pm administrative day, and Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm in the OR once we move to 5 days/week

Location: Jackson, NJ

Children's Dental Surgery is seeking a passionate Registered Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team in providing top-notch dental care to our patients.

As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients feel comfortable and receive the highest quality dental care possible. You will assist the dentist during procedures, and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal assistant for our team has a calm disposition and a talent for building rapport with young patients, who may be scared or anxious.

We want you to bring your passion, skills, and drive to help patients achieve beautiful smiles and better health while creating "wow" experiences at every visit!

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during surgery procedures
• Pass Instruments and anticipate provider needs
• Assist with suction, retraction, and visibility
• Work closely with RN staff and Anesthesia team
• Work with patients to make them comfortable and prepare them for treatment.
• Capture diagnostic images
• Assist the doctors and patients with a wide range of restorative procedures
• Chart and enter notes in Dentrix
• Work in a team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• RDA certification
• Basic knowledge of hygiene, restorative, and orthodontics
• All required CE credits required by the state
• Dental office experience preferred
