Job Details

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Permanent Permitting Specialist to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is well-versed in the telecom industry and has a strong background in permitting, project coordination, and project tracking. The ideal candidate should be tech-savvy with a proficiency in Excel. This role is integral to our operations and will contribute significantly to the successful execution of our projects. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Permitting Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all aspects of the permitting process, including applications, renewals, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Coordinating with various departments to ensure project timelines are met and the permitting process is completed efficiently.
  • Utilizing technology to track project progress, maintain accurate records, and generate comprehensive reports.
  • Liaising with government agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders to expedite the permitting process.
  • Identifying potential issues or delays in the permitting process and implementing effective solutions.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on permitting requirements and regulations.
  • Collaborating with team members to improve processes and procedures related to permitting and project coordination.

Qualifications: The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the telecom industry, specifically in permitting, project coordination, and project tracking.
  • Extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal permitting regulations.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other project management software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
