Location: Quincy, IL Pay Range: $15.35 per hour Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (some variability based on departmental needs) Position Type: Temporary | 90-Day Summer Internship

About the Role:

The Medical Assistant Intern – Physical Therapy/Sports Management provides support to clinical staff in a fast-paced specialty setting. This role offers hands-on experience in patient care, clinical workflows, and healthcare operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support patient care by preparing patients for visits, obtaining vital signs, and assisting with basic clinical tasks. Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC, assist with room turnover, and support overall clinic flow. Provide excellent patient service while working alongside providers and clinical staff.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or currently enrolled in a healthcare-related program preferred
• Interest in pursuing a career in healthcare
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
