Job Description
We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant (Secret cleared) to join our federal team at our Huntsville, AL location. This role supports mission-critical operations by ensuring materials, equipment, and assets are accurately tracked, properly handled, and ready to support our Federal programs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and takes pride in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment.

Pay Range: $26.63 - $33.65 per hour (Negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
Benefits: Eligible for benefits on first day of employment
Vacation: 3 weeks of paid vacation, 5 sick days, 3 floating holidays, and 10 standard holidays per calendar year (6.5 weeks in total)
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will:
Support inventory controlprocesses including physical counts, record maintenance, asset tagging, and discrepancy resolution
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments while coordinating with carriers
Perform basic equipment testingand document operational results
Process equipment for disposal in accordance with company and federal guidelines
Maintain accurate asset and inventory records within tracking systems
Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and organized, with proper storage and labeling of materials
Follow all safety procedures and compliance standards in a federal environment
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
1+ year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory-related role
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, inventory systems, or similar)
Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Active Secret clearance is required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a DoD, federal, or government contracting environment
Familiarity with inventory management systems or asset tracking tools
Forklift or material handling equipment experience (or willingness to obtain certification)
Experience with shipping carriers (FedEx, UPS, freight coordination, etc.)
Preferred Education:
Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
