3rd shift: 9:30pm-6:00am Sunday-Thursday.
$20-24/hour DOE plus 20% shift differential.
Independently use proper equipment, move materials within plant along with unloading incoming materials from outside carriers. Periodic use of forklift as directed.
This position requires an employee to work their regularly scheduled shift; including overtime and weekends if scheduled.
Must maintain forklift certification for position.
Primarily uses a forklift to move materials around building.
Maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, vendors, co-workers, and Supervisors.
Will not impose on self or others as a direct threat to health or safety.
Works as a team player, helping to meet departmental and Company goals and objectives.
Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
Ability to operate a fork truck and electric pallet jack properly and safely after provided training.
Ability to work in all material handling areas/functions, not limited to forklift operation only.
Strong working knowledge of PLEX or similar inventory/ERP systems for material transactions, inventory tracking and trouble shooting.
Ability to prioritize workload, manage competing demands and support multiple departments/locations as needed.
Ability to assist in training and mentoring less experienced Material Handlers.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize workload.
Ability to read and comprehend Bill of Materials.
Strong computer skills to operate Company software.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Minimum of 5+ years of material handling/forklift experience in a manufacturing environment, warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
Advance experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Previous lead, trainer or coordinator experience preferred.
Position requires individual to be capable of traveling & working throughout the entire facility, within reasonable accommodation. The noise level is usually moderate.
