Union County Educational Services Commission is a public school district in Westfield, NJ, that was established to provide cost-effective educational programs and services for the twenty-one school districts in Union County. The Commission is seeking a hard-working, experienced and responsible Head School Custodian to perform all activities that are custodial in nature and deemed appropriate by the Building and Grounds Supervisor and the Business Administrator.

• Available: Immediately
• Full-Time, 12-Month Position (Monday-Friday)
• Salary: $45,000-$60,000 (based on experience)
• Hours: 6 am-3 pm

Qualifications:

• Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent training/experience.
• Has previous experience in custodial-type work.
• Holds a valid State of New Jersey driver's license for Board of Education vehicles.
• Possesses a New Jersey Black Seal Low Pressure Boiler License or can qualify for such within one year of employment and maintain this license thereafter yearly.
• Is in good health and able to meet the demands of the position, including, but not limited to being able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
• Successfully completes required criminal history and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status.
• Effective communication skills.
