MATERIALS EXPEDITER LEADER

Job Title

The role involves leading Material Expediters and Tool and Parts Attendants in various material handling tasks.

Duties

You will:

• Lead Material Expediters and Tool and Parts Attendants in performing material handling, control, storage and supply support.
• Pass general instructions and guidelines received from supervisor and direct daily work to shift employees.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to employees in compliance with rules, regulations, instructions and policies.
• Distribute and balance workload among employees in accordance with established workflow or job specialization.
• Oversee work in progress or spot check/review completed work to ensure instructions, methods and deadlines have been met.
• Plan, schedule, expedite and coordinate receipt, custody, and issue of all tooling and materials within one or more worksites and warehouses.
