Ecommerce Accounting Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Ecommerce Accounting Specialist to support our finance team with daily accounting operations. This role will manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online, with a focus on ecommerce transactions. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high transaction volumes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts payable and vendor payments
• Track accounts receivable, record deposits, and monitor overdue payments
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Reconcile transactions from ecommerce platforms and payment processors
• Record fees, refunds, chargebacks, and settlements accurately
• Maintain bookkeeping and journal entries in QuickBooks Online
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
• Support sales, returns, and margin tracking for ecommerce channels
• Maintain spreadsheets for tracking sales, expenses, and settlements

Qualifications:

Required: 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online Experience with AP/AR and reconciliations Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working with large transaction volumes and spreadsheets Experience with ecommerce platforms (Amazon, Walmart, eBay)

Preferred: Familiarity with inventory or cost accounting Basic understanding of sales tax compliance Strong Excel skills and process improvement mindset.
