Team Member Cleaning Position

Principal Responsibilities Of The Cleaning Team Member:

Focus on quality: Consistently meets and exceeds Chick-fil-A cleaning and operational standards

Maintains a professional and tidy appearance, in line with Chick-fil-A standards

Prepares and cleans the restaurant for daily operations

Demonstrates a positive and teachable attitude and lives the core values of Chick-fil-A

Follows all team policies and procedures

Description:

We are looking for a team member who wants to be part of our night cleaning team to feel a vital place in our team. We hope to find a reliable and skilled person who understands the importance that the cleaning role plays in an organization or building.

The person we want to give this opportunity must have strong communication skills, be able to prioritize tasks, and adopt a proactive and reactive mindset. We like to keep our environment tidy and well-organized; we expect our future cleaning team member to share the responsibility of helping us achieve this.

Responsibilities Of A Cleaning Team Member:

  • Clean building floors (vacuum, mop, sweep, scrub)
  • Pick up and empty indoor trash
  • Clean, service, and restock restrooms
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
  • Participate in building safety and security activities (check and close doors, check appliances)
  • Equipment, supplies, and furniture moving
  • Inform managers about repair and maintenance activities required
  • Maintain the tools and equipment needed for cleaning tasks
  • Require supplies for the tools and equipment needed for cleaning tasks

Job Requirements For Cleaning Team Members:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must know and follow sanitation procedures
  • Must be able to respond and act quickly
  • Must have good communication and multitasking skills
  • Must have knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds, bend, and squat
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and dependable transportation

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Availability on weekends
  • On-call
  • Night shift
