Shipping Clerk – Direct Hire
Location: Blue Island, IL Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team in Blue Island, IL. This role is responsible for supporting shipping operations, order processing, and documentation to ensure accurate and timely outbound shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter customer orders into the QuickBooks accounting system
- Update shipment weights and dimensions after orders are picked and pulled
- Process and verify customer invoices
- Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs) and packing slips
- Coordinate shipments to ensure orders are dispatched on time
- Ensure all shipping paperwork and documentation are accurate and complete
- Communicate with internal teams to support daily shipping operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or order processing
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems preferred
- Familiarity with BOLs, packing slips, and shipping documentation
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
Pay Details: $54,999.00 to $60,000.00 per year
