Help

Perform bridge maintenance and repair tasks to four high-level highway bridges and one bascule type highway bridge.

Clean sand and salt concentrations from bridges using high pressure hoses and detergent solutions.

Clean and maintain tools, materials and equipment.

Perform operator maintenance on all vehicles (e.g. monitoring fluid levels, replacing air filter, checking tire pressure hose connections).

Operate snooper crane for lower-level repairmen.

Rig spider staging, scaffolding, and boatswain chairs to reach areas inaccessible by walkway.

Perform welding duties that require cutting, fabricating, and working in awkward physical positions.

Clean and repair drainage structures: replace pipes and hangers; open drain lines and drains; repair and replace troughs.
