Commercial Cleaning Technician

As a Commercial Cleaning Technician with Office Pride, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, order, and general maintenance of our facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining our high standards of cleanliness, which are essential for creating a positive and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, pride in their work, and a proactive approach to cleaning and organization.

Responsibilities include performing regular cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain a clean and sanitary environment. Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, ensuring supplies are stocked and in good condition. Managing waste disposal and recycling in an environmentally responsible manner. Keeping common areas, hallways, and public spaces clean. Monitoring the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and notifying the supervisor when restocking is necessary. Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel immediately. Following all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe and risk-free workplace.

Requirements include being legally authorized to work in the United States. Previous cleaning or concierge experience is preferred but not required. We value a positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Attention to detail and the ability to follow cleaning protocols and procedures. Knowledge of proper cleaning and disinfection techniques, and safe use of equipment and chemicals. Ability to work independently and manage time well. Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with other team members. Reliable and dependable transportation.

Work details include a schedule from Monday to Friday, starting around 5:30 PM, for a total of 20 hours per week. Pay is $15 per hour to start, increasing to $16 per hour after the probationary period. Weekly pay. Location is Palmetto, Florida. Overtime hours are available.

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
