Local CDL Driver - Day Shift

We're looking for a dependable CDL Driver & Feed Mill Technician to support daily feed delivery operations and on-site mill activities. This role blends local driving with hands-on feed production and facility support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and serving local producers. Your work directly supports customer success through safe, timely deliveries and high-quality feed manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport feed and agricultural products to customers within the local service area
  • Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and CDL requirements
  • Complete daily pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
  • Accurately handle delivery documentation and required records
  • Assist with feed mixing, batching, and manufacturing processes
  • Operate feed mill equipment safely while maintaining quality and accuracy standards
  • Load, unload, and clean trucks efficiently and safely
  • Support routing and distribution of feed to designated storage bins
  • Assist with routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Represent the cooperative professionally through positive customer interactions
  • Perform general facility duties and other tasks as assigned
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience
  • Valid Class A CDL (additional endorsements preferred)
  • Strong driving safety record
  • Consistent attendance and dependable work ethic
  • Team-oriented mindset with a customer-first attitude
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Outdoor and indoor work in all weather conditions
  • Operation of manual transmission quad-axle trucks or semi-trucks
  • Frequent climbing in and out of trucks throughout the day
  • Ability to climb ladders to inspect truck loads
  • Occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as sweeping, loading, and equipment operation
